Ekiti State Begins Promotion Exercise for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff
Ado-Ekiti, December 16, 2025 – The Ekiti State Government has officially kicked off the 2024/2025 promotion exercise for eligible teaching and non-teaching staff in public secondary schools across the state. The event took place at Ola-Oluwa Muslim Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti, where qualified staff members gathered for screening, verification, and assessment.
Speaking at the venue, the Permanent Secretary of the Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mr. Michael Boluwade, urged participants to fully cooperate with the promotion panels to ensure a smooth and efficient process. He emphasized that active compliance from all staff would significantly contribute to the success of the exercise.
Mr. Boluwade also commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for granting timely approval for the promotion cycle, describing it as a reflection of the administration’s commitment to the welfare of public servants.
Importantly, he assured staff that all financial benefits associated with promotions would be implemented promptly. Employees under the Teaching Service Commission will receive the same treatment as those in the core civil service, ensuring there is no delay between the effective dates of promotion and corresponding salary adjustments.
This initiative demonstrates the Ekiti State Government’s dedication to rewarding hard work and supporting staff welfare, fostering motivation among teaching and non-teaching personnel.
